1927 മെയ് 10-ന് ജനിച്ചു. അച്ഛൻ: ഞായപ്പിള്ളി ഇല്ലത്ത് നീലകണ്ഠൻ മൂസത്. അമ്മ : അതിയാരത്ത് നാരായണിയമ്മ. ചേളാരി ഹൈസ്‌കൂളിൽ അദ്ധ്യാപകനായി ഔദ്യോഗിക ജീവിതമാരംഭിച്ചു. 1953-ൽ കോഴിക്കോട് ശ്രീരാമകൃഷ്ണമിഷൻ ഹൈസ്‌കൂളിൽ അദ്ധ്യാപകനായി ചേർന്നു. 1982-ൽ വിരമിച്ചു. രാഷ്ട്രീയം, കുറ്റിപ്പെൻസിൽ, ഊണുതൊട്ട് ഉറക്കം വരെ, ചെറിയ കുട്ടിക്കവിതകൾ, വലിയ കുട്ടിക്കവിതകൾ, കുഞ്ഞുണ്ണിമാഷും കുട്ട്യോളും തുടങ്ങിയവയാണ് പ്രധാന രചനകൾ. കേരള സാഹിത്യ അക്കാദമി, സംസ്ഥാന ബാലസാഹിത്യ അവാർഡ് തുടങ്ങി നിരവധി പുരസ്‌കാരങ്ങൾ ലഭിച്ചു. 2006 മാർച്ച് 26-ന് അന്തരിച്ചു.
